8 Hour Addictive Substance Brief Education

One 8 Hour Day

Designed for clients who do not exhibit symptoms of substance use disorder, our program focuses on examining the effects of alcohol and other substance use on an individual's overall health, brain function, and future prospects, providing valuable insights and strategies for informed decision-making.

16 Hour D.U.I. Education

Two 8 Hour Days

Tailored specifically for clients who have encountered a singular DUI or another substance-related issue, without displaying any additional symptoms of substance use disorder, our program satisfies Arizona's DUI Level II education prerequisites, covering essential topics such as DUI law, impaired driving, as well as examining the repercussions of alcohol and substance use on an individual's health, brain, family dynamics, and future prospects.

18 Hour Addictive Substance Use Education

2 Hour Sessions

Structured as an educational treatment program, this specialized offering is intended for clients who have received a single substance-related citation (excluding DUI) for offenses such as possession, paraphernalia, or being under the influence, and is not suitable for individuals exhibiting additional symptoms of substance use disorder. As per the guidelines set by the referring agency or the screening assignment, urine analysis may be required, and a positive result will prompt further evaluation and potential adjustments to the program assignment.

Screening Assessment

Our thorough screening process diligently assesses clients' concerns encompassing DUI, Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence, Anger, Depression, Suicide, and Trauma, allowing us to accurately identify the specific issues and align them with the appropriate program duration mandated by the Arizona Department of Health Services.

Substance Use Outpatient Treatment

2 Hour Sessions

These state-compliant programs offer Level I DUI Treatment for clients with substance use disorder, utilizing cognitive behavioral group counseling and the Matrix Early Recovery Skills Program to foster a substance-free lifestyle, including Level II DUI education, teaching skills for recovery and relapse prevention, with possible urine analysis, requiring prior completion of detoxification if necessary.

  • This program is for the client with mild symptoms of substance use disorder, with only one or two substance related citations and with a receptive attitude for significant self-evaluation and lifestyle redirection.

  • This program is for the client with moderate symptoms of substance use disorder, with no more than three substance related citations and with a receptive attitude for recovery focused lifestyle changes.

  • This program is for the client with serious symptoms of substance use disorder, with no more than four substance related citations or with relapse prone issues and/or with reluctance for recovery focused lifestyle changes.

  • This program is for the client with severe symptoms of substance use disorder, with five or more substance related citations or with significant prone issues or with resistance for recovery focused lifestyle changes.

Domestic Violence Diversion Program

1.5 Hour Sessions

Exclusively intended for clients who have not been convicted of a domestic violence offense and have been provided with a Diversion opportunity by the Court, this program offers tailored support and resources to guide individuals towards positive outcomes and personal growth.

  • This program is for the client who caused no injury, made no threat and has no prior offense for any aggressive behavior.

Domestic Violence Offender Treatment

1.5 Hour Sessions

These programs meet the state requirements for Domestic Violence Offender Treatment. They utilize cognitive behavioral group counseling to motivate, develop and maintain a violence free and substance free lifestyle. Clients learn to identify, process and disengage from abusive attitudes and violent behavior. Clients are taught peaceful conflict resolution, relationship and parenting skills. Substance abuse issues and recovery are also addressed in each session. Urine analysis may be required.

  • This program is for the client who is a first offender, who caused no physical injury and who made no threat to injure.

  • This program is for the client who committed a second domestic violence offense or first offense with injuries or threat to injure.

  • This program is for the client who committed a third domestic violence offense or any offense that involved a weapon, a death threat or life threatening injury.

Positive Alternatives Behavioral Treatment

1.5 Hour Sessions

These programs are designed for clients who engaged in non-domestic conflicts, destructive and/or defiant criminal behavior. (e.g., non-domestic violence assault, property damage, road rage, shoplifting, theft, bad check writing, etc.). These programs utilize cognitive behavioral group counseling to address and motivate change for thought patterns, behaviors and emotional reactions that have become destructive for the client.

  • This program is for the first offender that did not cause physical injury or threat of any kind.

  • This program is for the client who committed a second domestic violence offense or first offense with injuries or threat to injure.

  • This program is for the client who committed a third domestic violence offense or any offense that involved a weapon, a death threat or life threatening injury.

  • This program is for the third time offender or any offender who caused major injury during the offense or made a death threat.

MVD Revocation Packet Evaluations

ABC is not currently scheduling appt for Revocation

ADOT/MVD requires an evaluation as part of a revoked driver’s license reinstatement process. The evaluation determines if substance abuse issues affect driver’s license reinstatement.

Level I Substance Use Outpatient Treatment fee: $40 per 2 hour session

Domestic Violence

Maricopa & Yavapai County:  $40 per session for 1.5 hour sessions

We understand the importance of convenience when it comes to payment options. That's why we offer multiple convenient methods to accommodate your preferences. You can easily make payments using credit or debit cards through various channels.

New clients are requested to call our office to arrange payment at 602-788-1116, while returning clients can conveniently make payments through their Patient Portal. We aim to ensure a seamless and secure payment process for all clients, providing assistance as needed.

Out-of-state clients must submit paperwork for approval to enroll. If approved, the fee will consist of the program/service plus a onetime out-of-state fee of $40.00
